Mary Ann Todd Honored for Excellence in All Aspects of Document Management

SANTA CLARA, CA, October 14, 2009 /Hardware PR News/ -- Mary Ann Todd, a Legal Program Coordinator for Sun Microsystems, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of document management.

Ms. Todd's expertise lies in research, and legal and compliance-related operations. She has spent the last 20 years with Sun Microsystems, an information technology company that specializes in computer hardware, Solaris, Java, NetBeans, Sun Studio, OpenOffice and Sun Ray. As a legal program coordinator, she reports to the Legal and Compliance Operations organization, overseeing legal document management and administration, researching for litigation and audit purposes, accessing and answering requests for the digital archive and legal files index, preparing all fully-executed confidential disclosure agreements for scanning into the digital archive

Ms. Todd became involved in her profession because of the experience she gained working as an administrative assistant to the founder of a software company where she handled the organization of documents for program developers. She attributes her success to being able to operate in a professional manner while under pressure, taking effective action with little or no guidance, ability to process highly confidential and critical information on a routine basis with discretion and integrity and to being pro¬active with excellent attention to detail and quality of work.

A Certified Administrative Professional, Certified Professional Secretary, Ms. Todd completed administrative and legal secretarial training at the Minnesota School of Business, coursework in paralegal studies at the Sawyer Business College and internal training at Sun University. She was honored by Wyse Technology, Inc. with a Wyse Owl Award and by Digital Research, Inc. with an Administrative Assistant of the Year Award. She gives generously to Harvest Food and various local charitable organizations. In five years, Mrs. Todd plans to retire and move to Washington State.
